8 Tuesday evenings: April 3 through May 22, 2018, 7:00-8:30pm

Join us for the Love on Every Breath, a profound meditation practice that empowers us to transform the suffering of ourselves, the people we love, and all beings through awakened, loving presence. Lama Palden Drolma, founder and Senior Lama of the Sukhasiddhi Foundation, is offering this extraordinary class series for people of all levels of interest and experience. All are welcome to join her for this transformative class series.

Love on Every Breath can be taken in person or online by live stream and video and audio recording. See online information below.

In this eight week class series, Lama Palden will lead participants step by step through the Love on Every Breath meditation practice as we learn to connect with our own essential goodness and discover the power of genuine compassion for ourselves and others.  Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators, this class will cover both the complete version of this meditation as well as an “on-the-spot” version that can be done in an instant, anywhere, anytime.  With Lama Palden’s guidance, we will address the fears and contractions that limit us, and gain confidence in opening our hearts as we move through the world.

Love on Every Breath is based on the practice of an 11th century wisdom dakini. It is a traditional meditation that Lama Palden received during her three-year retreat and has reworked to make it accessible to contemporary meditators.  It is a truly transformative experience in which we open more and more to love.

Love on Every Breath is an extraordinary and profound meditation practice through which the suffering of ourselves, the people we love, and eventually all beings is brought into contact with and transformed by awakened presence. As our hearts are increasingly opened to love, a doorway in ourselves is accessed through which our own essential goodness and true nature, and the transformative power of genuine compassion, can be discovered, felt and embodied more fully.  Lama Palden

Lama Palden photo Lama Palden Drolma is the founder and Senior Lama of Sukhasiddhi Foundation. She completed the traditional Tibetan Buddhist three-year retreat in the Shangpa and Karma Kagyu lineages under the previous Kalu Rinpoche’s guidance in 1985. In 1986 she became one of the first Western women to be authorized as a lama in the Vajrayana tradition. In addition to Kalu Rinpoche, she has studied with many of the great Tibetan masters from all lineages, including the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Tai Situ Rinpoche, Bokar Rinpoche, Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, Dezhung Rinpoche, Dudjom Rinpoche and the Dalai Lama.

With overwhelming gratitude to her gurus, Lama Palden transmits, trains and mentors students, passing on the profound and precious teachings and practices that enable one to reach full and complete awakening in this lifetime. She focuses on translating Vajrayana Buddhist principles and practices in ways that make them accessible to Westerners. Lama Palden was profiled in Shambhala Sun magazine as one of the women “changing the face of Buddhism.”

Lama Palden’s background is in comparative mysticism and psychology. As a licensed psychotherapist she has done groundbreaking work in the intersection of the spiritual and psychological aspects of our humanity. She is deeply committed, as was her root guru, Khabje Kalu Rinpoche, to ecumenicism and interspirituality.
