Wisdom River Sunday: The Science of Meditation

Sunday, July 15, 2018 10:00am – Noon

Come join us on Wisdom River Sundays for a lively blend of meditation practice and discussion

This Sunday we will explore how emerging neuroscience confirms and expands traditional views on spiritual practices.

Scott Davis and Ian Albert will present and discuss findings from functional brain imaging experiments that show how 21st century science is beginning to understand brain change during and after meditation, and studies of how meditation relates to brain health and aging.

Can modern neuroscience and other fields of scientific inquiry inform and inspire the practice of meditation? Can we change and direct our brain functioning through meditation?

Join us for an inspiring and enlightening morning.
