THE PRACTICE OF Six-arm Mahakala (Tibetan: Chagdrukpa), the fierce form of Chenresig, and the primary Shangpa lineage protector, helps practitioners overcome obstacles on the path to enlightenment in this life and beyond. Through chanting, visualization, music, and a ganachakra feast, we make offerings and pay homage to this unequalled ally, and nurture and further develop our connection with him and his entourage.
Practitioners who have had the Six-Arm Mahakala empowerment and teaching on the practice are invited to join Lama Döndrup for the Chagdrukpa Druptab puja each month. The dates are February 10th, March 10, April 7th and May 5th. The puja includes a tsok; please have your tsok offerings at the center by 6:15pm.
Prerequisites: Participants in this puja must have had the Six-Arm Mahakala empowerment and teaching.
