Lama Döndrup will provide a teaching on the Chagdrukpa Druptab practice from 9 am – 5 pm on Sunday, August 25.
The practice of Six-Arm Mahakala (Tibetan: Chagdrukpa), the fierce form of Chenresig, and the primary Shangpa lineage protector, helps practitioners overcome obstacles on the path to enlightenment.
Chagdrukpa welcomes and liberates the most challenging emotions, energies, and forces that others and we experience in this life and beyond. As we develop a relationship with Chagdrukpa, he becomes an unequalled ally on the path.
Through chanting, visualization, mudras, and music, we make offerings and pay homage to this great Wisdom Protector. In doing so, we nurture and further develop our connection with him and his entourage. Lama Döndrup will teach on each aspect of this powerful practice.
Participants in this teaching must have had the Six-Arm Mahakala empowerment, and must register. Receiving this daylong’s teaching is the prerequisite for attending the monthly Drubtab Puja and Tsok.
Sliding scale $85 – $125, Members $65 – $85, includes text and teacher donation.
