Lama Palden will give the Sukhasiddhi Empowerment on Saturday, November 24th, at 3pm. Having taken formal refuge vows is required to take this empowerment. Registration is also required, as information will be sent to participants.
SUKHASIDDHI, after whom our center is named, attained the highest level of realization. She was one of the four most important teachers of Kyungpo Naljor, the founder of the Shangpa lineage, who considered Sukhasiddhi and Niguma, two women, to be the kindest of his four main teachers.
Appearing in rainbow body, Sukhasiddhi bestowed many teachings on Kyungpo Naljor and subsequent lineage holders. She prom- ised to always sustain and bless the holders and students of the Shangpa tradition. This continues to the present day. Her teachings on Mahamudra are among her most profound.
At Sukhasiddhi Foundation, we continue to practice the meditations she bestowed. Please join us for this empowerment.
Arrive at least 10 minutes before the empowerment is to start; doors will be locked and no one will be admitted once the empowerment begins. Please note – ending time is approximate.
Cost: Suggested donation is $25, which can be paid online or at the door. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, please offer what you can. It is also customary to make a donation to the empowering Lama with a kata which will follow the empowerment. Katas and envelopes will be available.
