Trungpa Rinpoche once said that ignorance can be very clever. We tend to walk through our lives half asleep, investing all our intelligence into justifying and supporting the habitual interpretation of our experiences. And we do this without question.
How do we go about becoming conscious of our habitual patterns and conditioning? How are we to recognize the extraordinary potential of our own minds that is available, but limited by our own choices? What is the process by which we learn to free ourselves from these limitations? What are the clues to recognizing the profound yet simple and direct experience of the authenticity of our awakened nature? What are the signposts and the dangers on this path of awakening?
Specifically, how does Vajrayana use our innate capacity for creative imagination to both reveal the tenacious grasp of this conditioning and use it in a process of transformation? How does Vajrayana, with its genius and methodology, facilitate the recognition of the wisdom residing at the heart of our confusion? How does it reveal reality and empower us to become the very freedom implicit in the ever-present illumination of our awakened nature?
We invite you to join us for this informative and enlightening evening! The talk will also be available through live stream and recorded video.
