Our true nature is like a golden statue; however, it is still in its mold, which is like our defilements and ignorance… When the mold is broken, the statue emerges. When our defilements are removed, our true buddha nature is revealed.
“Primordial Purity”, Dzongsar Khyentse Rimpoche
We have all suffered from Life’s problems: trauma, loss, grief and many other painful experiences that have covered over our innate goodness, preventing us from feeling the happiness that is our birthright. Many of us have taken up addictive behaviors and compulsions in attempts to fill in the empty places inside where the pain has taken hold.
Wisdom teachings guide us towards satisfying our urgent desire towards Wholeness: recovering our natural state, feeling good about ourselves and others, coming to know this world that we live in is perfect just as it is. We seek a better way, and in that seeking find others on this path of aspiration and accomplishment of knowing our innate goodness as a fact of life.
Please join us on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8:15 pm, starting on Sept. 19, for ongoing group experiences of finding this path to goodness and happiness through recovering our natural state of being. We shall be sharing our stories, looking within through meditative practices and supporting each other on our journey to find our True Natures. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Please come and discover the preciousness of your existence in the here and now of group work.
