The Power of Gratitude: A Wisdom River Sunday
10:00am – Noon
This Wisdom River Sunday experience the power of gratitude as a gateway to awakening, a revolutionary act, and the sweetest practice in the Dharma.
Come gather for an interactive and meditative experience to dive deeply into gratitude as a spiritual practice. When we choose gratitude we open our hearts to the world and to ourselves in the present moment. This allows us in any circumstance to cut through the cultural messages of not enough. Gratitude opens us to our interconnection with all of life and the experience that we are part of something larger than ourselves. By resting in gratitude we find our joy and our generosity.
Constance Washburn M.A. and Karla Downing RN,CMT will be leading this Sunday. They have been students at Sukhasiddhi for over 15 years and are both in the Community Dharma Leader Program. Constance is a facilitator and teacher of the Work That Reconnects leading retreats and webinars for people all over the world. She is a theatre and environmental educator who has spent many years growing gratitude for our local food systems. Karla is a healer and body worker as well as a certified iRest ( Integrative Restoration) teacher. She founded ALIVE Retreats in 2016 to bring opportunities to the community for restorative healing that integrates live foods and mindfulness.
