Whether you are curious to learn more about the basics of Buddhism or an advanced practitioner who’d love a thoughtful review, this study group is a great way to learn more about Buddhism or refresh your knowledge in a friendly, fun way.
The session will consist of approximately 40-minutes of Lujong followed by a quiet meditation, with instruction and guidance as needed. No prior experience is necessary and there is no need to register in advance – just drop in!
This is an empowerment ceremony, not a teaching of the practice. This ceremony is open to Sukhasiddhi practitioners and the public. Attendees must have taken Refuge prior to receiving the empowerment.
Buddhist principles and practices are not just for the cushion. In the Awake in the World series, Reverend Susan Shannon leads a supportive and kind discussion on how we live the principles of Buddhism and bring dharma into our everyday lives.
