The Green Tara Meditation held on the last Monday of every month will be offered IN PERSON at Wisdom River Meditation Center and ONLINE via Zoom.
Join us every Monday for a donation-based, open sitting. Finding center and home in our own being is now more important than ever. As we navigate uncharted terrain in our personal and collective lives, we have incredible access to wisdom teachings that are as pertinent today as they were in the Buddha’s time.
Meditation is one of the tools that we can use to discover the eye of the storm that is within each and every one of us. Find sanctuary on Monday nights and join us for an open in person and online community meditation and dharma talk.
Suggested donation: $10-20, or what you can offer.
No prior experience is necessary. If you plan to attend online there is no need to register - just drop in. However, if you plan to attend in person, we ask that you please register.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Last Monday of month: Short Green Tara practice (Tibetan visualization practice) and short dharma talk
Green Tara's primary activity is one of protection from fear and danger, and she is committed to responding swiftly the moment that we call upon her. Through visualization, mantra, and silent meditation, we deepen our experience of the divine feminine while simultaneously awakening this quality of compassion that is innate to our being, yet often obscured.
The Green Tara practice transforms our distorted view of self and helps us recognize our innate radiant, compassionate nature.
